What To Do When Driving Into A Tornado

You have a game plan if a tornado is headed toward your neighborhood, or even worse, your house. You know where to go and you have a safe place. But what would you do if you were driving directly into a tornado? Seconds matter and acting quickly can save your life. Here are just some of the tips presented but be sure to watch the video for more.

  • Pull over the vehicle and get out.
  • Get to a sturdy building like a library or restaurant.
  • Head for a low area.
  • Avoid seeking shelter under an overpass.
