and am glad to have several on-hand at such a great price

I have had a few of these in my first responder/emt kit for years, and have used them more than once to help people stay warm and out of the wind while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. I now have some of them in our “Be Red Cross Ready” emergency kit. They are very compact (but will never return to that size, so be warned..HAHA). I can see many uses for them, and am glad to have several on-hand at such a great price. They are also great to give to family and friends in a winter emergency kit to keep in their cars.

A camping necessity

We have already used all of this pack. I need to buy more. They make such a difference when put under a sleeping bag while camping. I also use them on air mattresses, under a pad, when we need to pull out extra beds. They really keep your body heat from being drained by cold ground, or a cold floor.

For the cost these work well enough if careful

Great to keep in car or purse or backpack. I have two in each vehicle, two in back pack and two in shoulder bag. You never know when emergency will happen and whether it be winter or summer there is always need to prevent shock or over heating or freezing. These work well for two or three days if careful. I also have duct tape in cars so I can patch them together if necessary to make a shelter or windbreak. For the price these work well.

Can’t speak to its usefulness in an emergency yet…

since I have (thankfully) not needed to take advantage of their true purpose.

I used a dozen of these to block the sun. I took a 20′ x 30′ tarp and used spray adhesive and PVC glue to attach these to the underside. The shade it created by blocking the sun reduced the temp by about 15 to 20 degrees.

I love the way it adds some warmth to our bed

I love the way it adds some warmth to our bed, when we place it under our sheet. It even warms my feet. It is amusing to see how many times it is folded and slithers around.

Good for what they are intended for.

They are what they were described to be: light duty blankets. They appear to be durable enough for repeated use but will bulk up after use. For the money, I’d say they are a bargain.

Excellent product. We use them to keep the Sun …

I got these for a school class to use incase of an emergency. I love that they are folded up small so they don’t take up a lot of storage space. They seem to be strong enough to not rip the first time they are used. Hopefully they will never be needed, but I am so gald to have them just in case.
