This is not a 100% wool, keep ya toasty in winter kinda blanket. It’s more suitable as a liner for a sleeping bag or a temporary cover in a dry camp environment. It’s a little stiff and prickly when it comes from the packaging. A washing in cold water with softener added helps remedy this. However, in my location I do not have a dryer and it left dozens of little shaving balls all over the place. Great thing about it though is its drying time which is ridiculously quick for the size. As a liner or nice addition to a bedroll type sleep system this thing is great.

Great for emergencies.

I’ve tested the blanket and it kept me warm all night. The material is a little stiff. I’m hoping that adry cleaner and soften it and the fibers may make you itch.

It’s hard to “love” a wool blanket. It was as described, and once washed, works very well.

I got this blanket so I could snuggle up on the couch with my dog and turn the thermostat down. It absolutely works for that purpose.

Yeah its wool. It stinks when first removed from the package. I am guessing flame retardant?? After airing out a few days it was fine. As I expected really, not much else to say..

Good deal

I lived in a tent all summer. Some of the nights got pretty cold but I was always snug under this blanket. I love the way it smells. A good heavy blanket.
